Not to be a Debbie Downer, but too bad they are raising and selling chicks for eggs and likely to sell to backyard chicken enthusiasts. I wish Martha Stewart’s comment could have shined a light on the fact that these fuzzy little cuties are going to be exploited and killed when they are no longer productive, and the males have been killed.
